Guilford Police To Host Free Internet Safety Presentation For Parents
The program is open to parents and guardians of children of all ages, from elementary school through high school.
GUILFORD, CT — The Guilford Police Department is inviting parents and guardians to attend a free presentation on internet safety later this month at the Guilford Community Center.
The event, titled "Internet Safety for Parents," is scheduled for Tuesday, March 31, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
According to organizers, the session will cover popular social media and gaming apps and how they function, as well as parental control tools that can be used to monitor children’s online activity.

The presentation will also address laws related to sexting and sextortion and highlight free internet safety resources available to families.
