The single biggest issue in town is ______, and I plan to do this about it:

Returning to a normal school environment. the upcoming 2021-2022 school year is here with additional challenges such as new COVID variants and vaccine boosters. We as a board need to put our kids and safety at the forefront while maintaining trust and transparency with our stakeholders of the town.

Critical differences between me and my opponents:

We have the experience to manage the largest budget in Guilford and commit to fiscal responsibility We will collaborate with all stakeholders to address all student needs not single ones. We are leaders and champions of our public school system. Our record proves our dignity, integrity, and and respect for others.

Accomplishments:

Being an officer at my current employer I have and possess the skills needed to lead and learn and listen to my team to get a job done. We as a current board are dealing with and accomplishing the many challenges COVID-19 has presented to us. We are opening the schools full time with all the necessary safety precautions to ensure that our kids are all safe and in a safe environment to excel and keep the high standards of Guilford Schools. We overcame many challenges last year and we listened to parent and community concerns and addressed them.

Other issues:

We have the experience to manage the largest budget in Guilford and commit to fiscal responsibility • We will collaborate with all stakeholders to address student needs • We are leaders and champions of our public school system • We will serve Guilford with dignity, integrity, and and respect for others • We will provide a balanced approach to equity and social justice

What else would you like voters to know about you?

I along with my board colleagues have successfully handled the COVID-19 crisis and kept our budgets in tact. We have provided extraordinary oversite and kept our students engaged with new technologies and supported our astonishing staff (teachers, admin, district leadership)with training, and coaching and technology support to address the changing needs during the crisis.
