Guilford Resident Scores $1 Million Lottery Prize

The winning ticket was sold in Guilford, according to the Connecticut Lottery.

GUILFORD, CT — A Guilford resident recently won a massive $1 million lottery grand prize after playing a scratch-off game, according to the Connecticut Lottery.

The anonymous resident won the money from the 200X 4th Edition scratch-off game, which costs $20. The winning ticket was purchased at City Star Mart, 500 Boston Post Road.

The top prize can be paid as a $1 million 20-year annuity or a one-time gross cash option of $750,000.

The Connecticut Lottery website notes there are just three grand prize winners out of 2.5 million tickets of the 200X 4th Edition game.
