Guilford Resident Selected to Compete in Music Festival

From Sacred Heart Academy: Sacred Heart Academy is proud of both choral and instrumental musicians – Zoe Lamoreux ’19 ofGuilford (bassoon), Claire Lagarde ’19 of Milford (violin), Ashley Leparik ’21 of Milford (voice), andChloe Chauvot De Beauchene ’22 of Hamden (voice) - recently notified of their acceptance to compete in the Connecticut Music Educators Association (CMEA) Southern Region High School Music Festival in January 2019. They will compete against the most talented musicians in Southern Connecticut and if selected they will move on to compete against the most talented musicians in the State.

The mission of CMEA is to provide programs and activities for music educators, students and future music educators striving to enhance the quality of music education for all children.
