Guilford Restaurant Closes its Doors: Report

For Sandi and David Sulkowski, of Guilford, the name of their restaurant the “Hidden Kitchen” became too literal for them at least in their hometown.

For seven years the Sulkowskis’ operated their restaurant in a shopping plaza kinda hidden on the Boston Post Road in Guilford, which impacted business they said.

After seven years, the family decided to close the restaurant earlier this month, the New Haven Register reports.

Rent increases also made it impossible for the family to keep the Guilford location open, but the good news is that the Sulkowskis’ continue to operate their location at 2341 Foxon Road on Route 80 in North Branford, the Register reports.
