Guilford Rotary Donates Over $9K To Meals On Wheels

GUILFORD, CT — The Guilford Rotary Club recently presented Meals on Wheels a check for $9,400 to help pay for the organization's deficit last fiscal year.

The funds stem from the success of the Rotary's Lobsterfest event this past June, which Guilford Interfaith Volunteers has supported over the years. GIV is the umbrella for Meals on Wheels.

"We are beyond grateful," said GIV Executive Director Christi Burton.

The Guilford Rotary said in a Facebook post, "Both Guilford Rotary and Guilford Interfaith Volunteers share a deep commitment to service above self, supporting those in need in our community."
