Guilford Schedules Public Hearings, Workshops For Comment On Proposed Town Budget

GUILFORD, CT — Town officials have scheduled multiple opportunities for residents to provide public comment on the proposed fiscal year 2026-27 budget, the Town of Guilford announced.

The Guilford Board of Finance will hold a public hearing on the budget estimates at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, March 3, at the Nathanael Greene Community Center, 32 Church St. Residents may attend in person or participate via Zoom.

A budget workshop is set for 7:30 p.m. Thursday, March 5, at the same location and will also be available by Zoom. A second workshop, if needed, is scheduled for Monday, March 9, at 7:30 p.m. at the community center.

In addition to in-person comments at the meetings, residents may submit written comments to the board using an online form provided by the town.

The town’s annual budget meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, April 7, with details to be released later, officials said.
