GUILFORD, CT — Guilford is seeking feedback through an online survey on temporary pedestrian improvement projects around the Town Green.

Temporary curb extensions were installed around the Green at two locations: the intersection of Broad Street and Church Street and at 63 Whitfield St.

Curb extensions, or bump-outs, expand the sidewalk or curb line into the roadway, reducing the effective street width, according to the town. Curb extensions improve pedestrian crossings by reducing the crossing distance and time, and by improving sightlines.
