Guilford Sets New Date For Town Meeting On Mooring Property Purchase
The meeting will be held at Guilford High School and will allow the community to speak on the purchase before a vote.

GUILFORD, CT — The Guilford Board of Selectmen on Thursday set a date of Feb. 26 for the special town meeting regarding the potential purchase of the former Mooring Restaurant property located at 505 Whitfield St.
The meeting will begin at 7 p.m. from Guilford High School and will allow the community to speak on the purchase before a vote.
A meeting was originally scheduled in late January at the Community Center, but it was postponed to Feb. 12 because of capacity issues. However, a discrepancy in the meeting notice information in a local publication forced the town to postpone again due to concerns that the meeting could be improperly held.
