Malavasi praised Minore for ensuring that all of our vendors were paid during the
entirety of the pandemic and helping to implement a new Purchase Order system at
the same time.
“Darlene’s job required constant back and forth between home and office, and transporting thousands of invoices in order to keep things moving. But in addition, during this same time, she took on the challenge of implementing the Purchase Order Requisition module in MUNIS. Our office was tasked by the First Selectman to have this in place by July 1, and it was," Malavasi said. "She took time out of her day to train every department and handle calls with questions and concerns. Darlene continues to go above and beyond her job description to make processes easier for every department."
