Guilford Town Band Winter Concert
Community music ensemble gives annual concert in new GHS Performing Arts Center on January 14.

The Guilford Town Band will perform in the Guilford High School’s new Performing Arts Center on January 14th at 7:30 PM.
The Guilford Town Band, directed by high school band director Mark Gahm, is a multi-generational group of musicians from our own community, as well as surrounding towns. The band is made up of 75 performers ranging in ages from 15-70 years old. Many of the players have been performing professionally in the area for many years. The group was founded in 2000, and holds two concerts per year - one in the winter, and the other at the Town Picnic on the Guilford Green in July.
The Town Band will perform George Gershwin’s “An American in Paris” along with other varied selections. The concert will also feature performances by the Guilford High School Percussion Ensemble under the direction of Patrick Smith, and the Guilford High School Mixed Chorus, conducted by Kevin Buno.
