Guilford Walmart Remodel Completed
Company officials say the changes focus on better customer service and convenience.

GUILFORD, CT — Guilford residents recently got a look at the newly remodeled Walmart at 900 Boston Post Road on Friday, July 21, as the project is completed, company officials said in a news release. A grand reopening ribbon-cutting was also held on Friday.
Customers will enjoy the following store improvements, officials said:
● Enhanced photo center department

● State-of-the-art electronics department with interactive displays
● Improved layout in the cosmetics department

● New tile flooring throughout the store
● Expanded products in hardware department including DIY home and auto repair
● Easier to navigate: improved store flow, wider aisles, lower fixtures for better line of sight
“This remodel, along with our everyday low prices, represents our continued investment in Guilford,” said Store Manager Joshua Robertson said in a prepared statement. “Listening to customers and incorporating the products they want is what it means to be a store of the community.”
Walmart is committed to serving Guilford and will support local organizations through $4,000 in grants, officials said.
