Nick wrote the following on Facebook a few days ago.
“Only a few days left till Wednesday’s American Idol episode. I just want to thank all of you who voted last week. Regardless of the results, I’ll always remember the amount of support you all have shown. Fingers crossed that I get to play my Motown song! #americanidol #motown #nickfradiani”
American Idol airs 8 p.m. on Fox.
Here is a sampling of what some of Nick’s fans are writing about him on Facebook.
Susan Adkins, “You are the Best here!!!! You’ll be singing the American Idol Winner’s Song!!!!!.....I know everyone has their favorite, but this just seems like a no-brainer to me !!!!!.....Song choice, as you are so aware of, with your experience, is so huge on this particular show, other than that, with your voice, style, charm, looks, and talent, pretty much a done-deal!!!! Enjoy this time, as it is yours !!!!”
Susan Doheny Angelo wrote, “No doubts Nick! You are going ALL the way!”
Joan Roberts wrote, “You did fantastic. You should be very proud. I’m sure America wants to see more.”
Nick Fradiani last week sang live on American Idol, Ed Sheeran’s #1 hit “Thinking Out Loud.” Check out the video below of Nick’s live performance of the song.
He received rave reviews for his performance from the crowd and of course the celebrity judges.
Keith Urban said last week that Fradiani picked the perfect song to sing for his voice and that he loved that he both sang and played the guitar.
Jennifer Lopez said Nick’s performance was one of the best of the evening.
Harry Connick Jr. praised Nick’s performance as well.
Despite rehearsing for his big live performance last week, Nick still found time to speak directly to East Haven students at his former school, Momauguin School. East Haven officials declared last Wednesday as ‘Nick Fradiani Day’ in “honor of Nick’s amazing journey.
This isn’t Fradiani’s first time at the reality TV rodeo. He auditioned for America’s Got Talent last year with his Milford band, Beach Avenue, bandmates, performing original songs.
His band was eliminated at the beginning of the competition but that didn’t dampen Fradiani’s spirits — he’s back in the reality TV game again, this time going solo on American Idol.
