Nicole Raccuia Receives Second Place in National ACUI Design Competition

BURLINGTON, VT -- Nicole Raccuia of Guilford, CT (06437), a member of the University of Vermont Department of Student Life's Marketing Assistant team, has placed in the Association of College Union Internation's 'Steal this Idea' competition - an annual design competition open to any professional or student working within a college union or student activities at an ACUI member institution.

Including judges from across the United States, ACUI determines first place through honorable mention across a number of design categories that make up the competition. Criteria includes concept, design, editorial content, and effectiveness. Submitted entries must have been created within the calendar year. Additional entry details may be found on the submission form.

A 'Best in Show' award is chosen from first place winners across all categories. Winning entries are featured in ACUI's publication The Bulletin, showcased at the Annual ACUI Conference, and published online.
