Hannah McDermott Selected to Play in 2016 Brine National Lacrosse Classic
A Guilford High School student has received the honor representing her state.

Hannah McDermott, of Guilford, has been named a Brine National All American Lacrosse Player and was selected to represent Connecticut at the 2016 Brine All American National Lacrosse Classic from July 19-22 in Richmond Virginia.
Entering its 9th year, the Brine National Lacrosse Classic brings the top high school lacrosse players in the nation to one venue, where regional teams compete to become the National Champion.
The event puts players in front of college lacrosse coaches in a recruiting showcase. McDermott participated in highly competitive regional tryouts and was selected to participate in the National Classic by a panel of evaluators, representing Connecticut.

McDermott just completed her sophomore year at Guilford High School where she is a varsity attacker. This season she scored a season high 2 goals and 3 assists versus Hamden on April 15th. Currently, she plays for the Connecticut Cardinals Club in Middletown and leads the team with 9 goals and 14 assists.
