"Sadly, when we took her to the veterinarian for a wellness check, it was discovered that she has a very large abdominal mass. The veterinarians have given her a very poor prognosis. Currently, she does not appear to be in any pain, and her vitals are monitored constantly for any changes. We are keeping her happy and comfortable here at the shelter, hoping her owner will come forward.
"After our three-week stray hold period, we will re-evaluate her condition to see what the best course is for the dog. We are deeply saddened by this turn of events, and again thank everyone for their help in catching her, and their love and support of her. We will keep you posted on her journey.

We are so thankful for the outpouring of donations of food and cookies for this sweet dog. She is well stocked in yummy things to munch on! At this time if you are looking to help her out, you can donate to our veterinary account at the Guilford Veterinary Hospital.
"Donations can be made over the phone to them, or by going to the hospital in person.
"Thank you again!"
