Roads Slated For Paving In Guilford This Spring: See Where
Here are the roads that are slated to be paved in the coming weeks, according to the town.
GUILFORD, CT — The Town of Guilford on Tuesday announced several road that will be paved as part of the spring 2025 paving program.
The following roads will be paved in coming weeks:
- Old Whitfield Street (Guilford Train Station southerly to Whitfield Street)
- Whitfield Street (Approximately 425 Whitfield St. southerly to the Town Marina)
- Seaside Avenue (Whitfield Street to Jacobs Beach)
Work has already begun to prepare the roads for paving, including concrete sidewalk and drainage repairs, according to the town. Depending on the weather, work is expected to be completed before Memorial Day.

Meeting minutes from the April 7 Board of Selectmen meeting show the total project cost is $305,612, with $205,521 from from the state's Local Capital Improvement Program (LOCIP). Additionally, $89,500 is coming from CT Water, and the remaining $10,590 is from capital funds.
