Household Hazardous Waste Safe, Free Drop Off At Bittner Park April 15
Open to Guilford residents, with pre-registration required, folks may drop off a laundry list of household hazardous waste at Bittner Park.
GUILFORD, CT — From aerosols to wood stripper, and dozens of other household, yard and garden, and even auto, chemicals and hazardous waste may be brought to Bittner Park on April 15 for safe, and free, disposal.
Open to Guilford residents, with pre-registration required, folks may drop off a laundry list of household hazardous waste at Bittner, 1350 Durham Road, from 9 a.m. to noon, Saturday, April 15.
Here's the acceptable list of household haz-waste that can be dropped off. The only item on the list that may not be dropped off is auto batteries.

A collaboration between the town and the Regional Water Authority, the effort is designed to protect the environment.
