ID Released In Fatal I-95 Accident In Guilford: Report
The accident shut down the highway and led to numerous delays for several hours on Saturday.
GUILFORD, CT — Jose Torres Ramirez, 43, of Oklahoma was killed and driver Martha Gonzalez-DeSalazar, 55, also of Oklahoma was injured in an accident that occurred on Interstate 95 in Guilford, which shut down the highway for several hours Saturday morning and afternoon.
The accident occurred between exits 58 and 59 Saturday morning on the northbound side of the highway, WTNH News 8 reports. Martha Gonzalez-DeSalazar was driving a vehicle that was towing a trailer, which ended up leaving the highway and hit a jersey barrier and then the vehicle proceeded to strike a guardrail, News 8 reports.
