Jacobs Beach, Lake Quonnipaug Have Reopened: Town Of Guilford
The closures were originally put in place as a result of heavy rainfall.
GUILFORD, CT — Jacobs Beach and Lake Quonnipaug have reopened for swimming after being closed since Tuesday morning, the town of Guilford announced in an update.
The closures were put in place as a result of heavy rainfall. The forecast in Guilford looks clear for the next week or so, although there is a chance of thunderstorms for Monday, according to the National Weather Service.
