The Kids HUGS (Hope, Understanding, Growth, and Support) program offers support for children with a seriously ill parent. Kids HUGS provides children with a nurturing community where they will explore their emotions and learn lifelong coping skills. The child’s support group will be facilitated by a child life specialist, with some activities led by local artists to encourage children to express themselves through creative arts and play. Children ages 6-16 can participate. The group meets twice monthly beginning on 1/26/15. The registration fee is $25 per family. Registration is required.
