Lake Quonnipaug and Jacobs Beach Hours, Fees Released

The Guilford Parks and Recreation Department is pleased to announce that Lake Quonnipaug and Jacobs Beach will now be open (weather permitting) June 19 – June 22 from 12:00p.m.-5:00p.m.!
Beginning June 23rd, beaches will be open daily through the end of August. Hours are: Jacobs Beach Monday through Saturday 9:00-5:00p.n. Sundays 11:00a.m.-5:00p.m. Lake Quonnipaug Monday through Saturday 9:30a.m. to 7:30p.m, Sundays 11:00a.m.-5:00p.m.

New this year, credit cards will be accepted and the encouraged form of payment at Jacobs Beach and Lake Quonnipaug. Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover are all accepted! Patrons are highly encouraged to take advantage of our new credit card feature that will allow for quick and easy transactions that don't require making that extra stop at the ATM before headed to the beach. Currently, cash and check will continue to also be accepted.

Daily fees for beaches are as follows: Cars, Bikers, and Walkers: Residents $10.00 / Non-Residents $20.00
Beach passes: You can purchase a beach pass at the Community Center, online or at the beach. Fees are as follows Resident: $35.00 / Non-Resident $70.00, Active Adult 55+/Veteran Resident $10.00 / Non-Resident $20.00
