Guilford police rescued a little lost deer who fell off a cliff in town, and they are just fawning over her.

Written and shared by the Guilford Police Department on Facebook:
We are just fawning over this little lost deer. She fell off a cliff in town and suffered some minor cuts, bruising and scrapes.
She was rescued by Animal Control Officer Borrelli and is currently chowing down on goat milk per the rehabilitation expert's advice. A Guilford vet checked her out and she is clear for pickup tomorrow morning by the certified rehabilitation expert. (To sign up for Guilford breaking news alerts and more, click here.)

Normally we leave the fawns in place for mama deer to return but since we are not sure where she wandered from and her body temperature dropped significantly, we rescued her and will get her healthy to go back to her home.
