'Load And Go' Day Upcoming At Brush And Leaf Facility In Guilford

GUILFORD, CT — Mulch, compost and wood chips will be available to Guilford residents and businesses only at the brush and leaf facility on Sullivan Drive on April 24.

Known as "Load and Go" days, hours run from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Proof of residency is required, and a form must be filled out before public works employees use their equipment to load, according to the town.

Supplies of mulch, compost and wood chips are limited.

Prices are:

• $5 pickup or small trailer
• $10 for a mason dump truck or a large dump trailer
• $30 for a six-wheel dump truck
• $50 for a tri-axle dump truck
