This summer, the Shoreline Arts Alliance is offering lots of FREE performances in areas convenient to you! This years Shakespeare on the Shoreline production of King Lear, (August 6-10 at 7:30PM on the Guilford Green) is focusing on inclusiveness for all people with disabilities, spurred by the fact that the lead actor, playing King Lear, has been blind since birth. Also in this production, 4 of the roles in King Lear will be given to local young people involved in theater!
Not only King Lear, but the SAA is offering a performance of The Reluctant Dragon at the Blackstone Library in Branford, on August 8 at 10AM. This performance is put on by the professional cast from the Shakesperience organization.
These local events are for all people of all ages, and you should definitely check them out!
