Madison Beach and Recreation Offers More Great Camps

Wondering what to do with the rest of summer? Madison Beach and Recreation still has some great camps available.

Madison Beach and Recreation still has more camps to offer for the summer. Check out these programs!

Summer Escape Summer Camp - June 22rd to August 7th for Ages 6 or 7 to Age 12**

Join us beginning June 22nd for our Summer Escape Camp program. Registration is by the week, so you can come for one or come for all, as long as there is space available. The general camp day is from 8:30 am to 4:00 pm. Extended hours are available from 7:30 am to 5:30 pm for an extra fee. This is not a drop in program, so your children should be there at 8:30 am so they can get acclimated to our schedule, get to know new friends, learn what is expected of them while they are at camp and not feel left out because they have missed something that everyone else did before they got there! Swim days are Tuesdays and Thursdays of each week, weather/schedule permitting. Bathing suits, towels and swim shoes are a must. Children should arrive at camp wearing sunscreen and bug spray every day. Sunscreen should be brought to camp daily for reapplication during the day. Staff can only help apply if the sunscreen comes in the spray version and with a note from the parents authorizing staff to apply sunscreen on their children. Children must also come with a lunch packed with an ice pack, snacks and a refillable water bottle as they must stay hydrated all day. Sneakers are the appropriate footwear for EVERY day of camp as we play games that require good foot protection. A schedule will be given to parents upon pick up on the Monday of each week, so you will know what to expect for the week. Each week we go on a field trip and we also have a special guest visit our camp, with the exception of our short week in July. There is no camp on July 3rd. A general week of camp includes sports, activities, arts and crafts, games, small group activities and large group activities, trips, entertainment, swimming, pizza days, and much more. **Two weeks our ages are 7 to 12 due to the nature of the field trips and the limits/rules of these locations. We are not able to provide a one on one experience for your child. Be sure your child can spend an entire day in group activities, and be informed of the field trip that we have planned for the week. Be sure that your child can/will participate in the activity planned. We do not pro-rate summer escape and we cannot refund unless we fill your spot, minus a cancelation fee. There are no refunds for missed days due to sickness or conflicts.
