National Night Out Event Approaching In Guilford

GUILFORD, CT — The Guilford Police Department will host a National Night Out event on the Guilford Green on Sunday, Oct. 13 from 4:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.

The free event will feature music, games, fun and prizes, and a chance to meet local police officers, town departments, organizations and businesses.

"There will be tables set up from businesses, town departments, and organizations to find new ways to engage with community. Guilford Fire will have a touch a truck on Park Street!" police said in a social media post. "Bring a chair to relax and enjoy the festivities or bring your dancing shoes to show off your moves! Either way, you will have a great time!"

Naples Pizza Truck will be donating pizza for the event and other food trucks will be on-site.
