New Bank Proposed For Guilford

GUILFORD, CT — A developer is seeking approval from the Planning and Zoning Commission to construct a new bank, according to an agenda posting for the March 1 meeting.

Chase Bank is proposing to develop a standalone bank in an existing shopping center at 830 Boston Post Road, according to documents.

The site is owned by J.R. Daly & Sons, Inc. The portion of the site to be developed is an existing parking lot. The proposed development will decrease the overall parking count by 20 spaces, from 542 to 522, according to documents.
