The children's storybook "We the Kids: The Preamble to the Constitution of the United States" is now available for reading in the StoryWalk® on the museum grounds. The book is recommended for ages 5-9 and features comical illustrations for all ages to enjoy.

The StoryWalk® Project was created by Anne Ferguson and developed in collaboration with the Kellogg-Hubbard Library in Montpelier, Vermont. StoryWalk® is a registered service mark owned by the Kellogg-Hubbard Library. The museum's StoryWalk® was made possible thanks to a generous gift from the New Haven Middlesex Association of Realtors Foundation through a grant from the National Association of REALTORS®.

The Henry Whitfield State Museum is located at 248 Old Whitfield Street in Guilford and the StoryWalk® is inside the stone wall along Stone House Lane. The museum buildings will be closed for the holiday on July 4th, but otherwise are open 10-4, Wednesday-Sunday. Admission is 50% off this year: Adults (18-64) $5, Adults (65+) $4, Youth (6-17) $2.50, and Children (<6) Free.
