Guilford's New Farmers Market Debuts Thursday
A new farmers market, hosted by the Guilford Agricultural Society, debuts at the Lovers Lane fairgrounds, with more than two dozen vendors.

GUILFORD, CT —A new farmers market hosted by the Guilford Agricultural Society opens May 4 at the Guilford Fairgrounds.
As announced on Facebook, the new market debuts at the Lovers Lane site from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m.
"This is a great opportunity for the local community to connect with Connecticut farmers, artisans and crafters," it was noted. "As the season progresses, you will find a wider variety of produce from our farmers as they become ready to pick. Come hungry and visit one of our food trucks. We'll have live music to make the markets even more fun and enjoyable for everyone. Be on the lookout for additional vendors and farmers as the season progresses and we get a feel for the needs of the market."
