New Restaurant Carson’s on Whitfield Planned to Open in Guilford After Labor Day

GUILFORD, CT – New restaurant Carson’s on Whitfield will be opening after the Labor Day holiday, the Guilford Courier reported.

The American-style restaurant will open in the former Colors Cafe space, at the corner of Water and Whitfield streets, according to the Guilford Courier. Ownership is a team effort between Jim Kirtopoulis, owner of GW Carson’s Burger Bar in Branford, and Ginway Lin, owner of 9East in Branford.

The decor will feature an exposed brick wall from the first incarnation of the building and barrel vault ceilings, according to the Guilford Courier. The restaurant is currently still accepting applications for various positions.
