GUILFORD, CT — Guilford's firefighters help people in the community every day. Tuesday, those heroes came to the rescue of an elderly horse that slipped and fell on ice. And with the help of the Durham Animal Response Team, and some farm equipment, rescued the horse, whose owner was unable to help right the 35-year-old.
