Not On A Sleigh, But Meals On Wheels Delivering Christmas To 110
On Christmas Day, volunteer Meals on Wheels drivers will brave the weather and, like Santa's elves, deliver Christmas joy to more than 1oo.

GUILFORD, CT — Like it did at Thanksgiving, Meals on Wheels volunteers are delivering more than just a beautiful holiday meal to many people this Christmas. The volunteers are bringing holiday joy and gifts, too.
The agency led by Guilford Interfaith Volunteers and overseen by Christi Burton is serving 110 meals and with those meals, special hand-decorated gift bags and other goodies.
Burton and Guilford Interfaith Volunteers staff Susan Egan, AnnMarie Gunn, and Tony Sicignano, wanted to say "thank you."

"We want to thank all who are giving support in creating these special Christmas bags for our Meals on Wheels clients who will receive them on Christmas morning," Burton told Patch.
In her year-end thank you note to volunteers, she quoted JFK: "As we express our gratitude, we must never forget that the highest appreciation is not to utter words, but to live by them.”
