Obituary: Joseph M. Flatley, 79, of Guilford
He worked in international marketing for Estée Lauder, enjoyed watching the Yankees and the news, and spending time with family and friends.

Thursday, August 5, 2021 Joseph M. Flatley of Guilford passed away at Water’s Edge Nursing Center, Middletown, Connecticut. Husband of Karen (Tenenbaum) Tardy Flatley. Joseph was born in Newark, NJ on December 28, 1941, son of the late Michael and Edith Flatley. Loving father of Lisa Girard, Sabrina Houlton, John Flatley, Robert Flatley, Christopher Flatley and the late Mary Flatley. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Sophie, Teddy, Zach, Eli and Natalie.
Before retirement Joseph had worked in International Marketing for Estée Lauder. He enjoyed watching the Yankees and the news, and spending time with friends and family.
Friends are invited to a visitation followed by a memorial service on Wednesday, August 11, visitation starting at 1 pm and a memorial service at 2 pm at the Guilford Funeral Home, 115 Church St, Guilford.
