Obituary: Lois A. (Tulka) Costello, 61, of Guilford

A longtime Madison school bus driver who loved children, she was passionate about her pets, arts & crafts, toy collecting and Disney World.

Wednesday, December 23rd, 2020 Lois A. (Tulka) Costello, longtime Guilford resident, passed away peacefully at St. Raphael’s Hospital in New Haven. She has left an imprint on everyone she has met.

Lois was born in Bridgeport, CT January 1, 1959, daughter of the late Rudolph Tulka and Jean (Voronelis) Tulka. She is survived by her husband of 36 years, Kenneth Costello and 2 loving daughters, Lauren and Ashley, all of Guilford and her cousin, Deana Pietrowicz and her family of Bridgeport.

For many years, she was a bus driver, most recently in Madison, CT. She loved her job and all the children she had the privilege of driving. Lois was passionate about many things, like her pets, arts and crafts, collecting various toys, Walt Disney World and Goofy and loved sharing it with those she loved.
