Obituary: Lori Accuosti, 59
She worked as a clinical social worker at Guilford High School as well as in private practice.

Lori Accuosti, 59, passed away at Yale New Haven Hospital on April 2, 2017, after an 18-month battle with leukemia. She passed peacefully and was surrounded by her sisters Marlene and Joanne Accuosti, her three children Jenna, Lauren, and Adam Klaus, and her cousin Mary Ellen Spina during her final moments.
She was born and raised in Waterbury, CT and is survived by her parents Ken and Laura Accuosti. Lori earned her Masters in Social Work from Fordham University and then went on to raise herchildren in Madison, CT while working as a clinical social worker at Guilford High School as well as in private practice. Additionally, the family would like to thank her best friends Debbie Helgeson, Beth Meglin, and Abby Lipschutz for caring for Lori and her loved ones throughout the past year and a half.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, April 7, at 11:30 am in St. George's Church, 33 Whitfield St, Guilford, CT. In lieu of gifts or flowers, the family requests donations to be sent to the Lori Accuosti Memorial Scholarship Fund c/o Shoreline Psychological 17 Woodland Rd Madison CT 06443. Burial will be held privately
