Obituary: Margaret "Peggy" Sheridan, 83, of Guilford

Margaret "Peggy" Sheridan, 83, of Guilford passed away July 22, 2022. Peggy was the daughter of her late parents Roland and Pauline Leggett. Peggy was the oldest of six children. Sister of Paula Jo Pacelli (Joseph), George Leggett (Mary), Eileen Ehrmann (Charles "Chuck"), the late Roland Leggett Jr., and the late Maureen Leggett. Beloved wife of the late Philip G. Sheridan and loving mother of Nicole Apicella (Doug) and devoted grandmother of Ian and Maggie Apicella. Peggy grew up in Duchess County New York and lived most of her life in New Jersey where she met her future husband.

Peggy worked for many years as a secretary before devoting herself to full time motherhood. In later years, Peggy spent most of her time in Connecticut with her grandchildren. Peggy will be remembered as a thoughtful person with a big heart who would do most anything for anyone in need. Peggy never forgot a birthday and always gave the perfect gift. She will be dearly missed by her friends and family.

Family and friends are invited to a Graveside Service Thursday at 12:00 PM in the Northford Cemetery, 27 Spruce St., Northford, CT.
