Obituary: Marvin Casey Jr., 63, of Guilford
A Yankees and NASCAR fan with nephew Mike, he worked at NAPA and as a Guilford Lakes Golf Course groundskeeper, where he also liked to golf.
Tuesday, July 19, 2022 Marvin Casey Jr longtime resident of Guilford passed away peacefully at his home. Marvin was born in New Haven on June 20, 1959, son of Anna Marie (Wasinger) Casey and the late Marvin Casey. Loving father of Nicole Casey and step-father of Crystal Handy. Brother of Peter Casey and his wife Susan and William Casey and his wife Amelia. Also survived by nieces, Jennifer Casey and Ashley Rhode and her husband Chris and nephews, Michael Casey and Kristopher Casey. Predeceased by Shawn Casey.
Marvin graduated from Guilford High School. He worked as a Material Handler for NAPA and as a groundskeeper for Guilford Lakes Golf Course. He enjoyed golfing with his friends at Guilford Lakes and spending time with his nephew Mike. Marvin and Mike would watch the Yankees and Nascar and talk about sports for hours.

Friends are invited to a memorial celebration on Wednesday August 10 from 4 – 7 pm at the VFW, 104 Mill Road, Guilford.
