Obituary: Melanie (Hutchinson) Vallo, 45, of Guilford

Friday, Jan. 7, 2022 Melanie (Hutchinson) Vallo of Guilford and most recently of New Haven passed away. Melanie was born in New Haven on October 15, 1976, daughter of Harold and Ingeborg (Jean) Hutchinson. Loving mother of Shaylah Hutchinson-Smith and Kiana Vallo. Sister of Mark Hutchinson of Guilford. She is also survived by her former husband Matthew Vallo.

Melanie is a graduate of Guilford High School and Quinnipiac University. She enjoyed hiking, nature, art, reading, dancing and caring for animals.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. George Church, 33 Whitfield St, Guilford on Wednesday, Jan. 19 at 10 a.m. Burial will be private.
