Obituary: Thomas A. Brym, 65, a longtime resident of Guilford
A chanteyman of the Ancient Mariners Fife and Drum Corps, Thomas worked at Yale New Haven Hospital St. Raphael campus for over 30 years.
Thomas A. Brym, longtime resident of Guilford, passed away after a 3.5-year battle with lung cancer. Tom was born in New Haven on March 4, 1955, son of the late Alfred and Wanita (Cushing) Brym.
An unwavering family man, he was husband of Debbi (Solomon) Brym; father of Zachary (Maria) Brym and Francine (Antonin) Lapiche; Dzaidzi to Gwendolyn, Eamon, & Arlo Brym and Clementine Lapiche. He is also survived by brother Edward (Roberta) Brym, nieces Vanessa Velez and Nicole Delucia, and predeceased by brother Robert Brym.

Tom graduated from Wilbur Cross High School and earned his Associates Degree in Radiologic Technology from South Central Community College. He worked for Yale New Haven Hospital at the Saint Raphael Campus for over 30 years as a Cardiovascular Radiologic Technologist. He was also a longstanding chanteyman of the Ancient Mariners Fife and Drum Corps.
