Obituary: Thomas (Tom) Rollinson Little, 83, of Guilford

An Army veteran who worked for Waterbury Buckle & Tag Co., he loved the water, sailing, lighthouses, and hunting for CT's best lobster roll.

Thomas (Tom) Rollinson Little, 83, of Guilford CT, beloved husband for 50 years to Karen Laub Little, passed away at home on Tuesday, June 7th. Born in Waterbury, he was the son of the late Joseph Little and Ruth (Rollinson) Little.

After graduating from Lehigh University, Tom joined the US Army before enjoying a long career as a designer for the Waterbury Buckle and Tag Company. Tom was known for his wealth of valuable information that he loved to share along with his witty sense of humor. He loved the water, sailing, lighthouses and scotch. He also enjoyed his hunt for the best lobster roll in CT and nice cool beer after mowing his lawn. Tom didn’t think twice about lending a hand, especially when it involved the garden.

He is survived by his wife Karen, their four sons; John Laub and his wife Daniela of New Haven; Thomas Little of Fairfield; Brian Little and his wife Danielle of Cromwell; Michael Laub of Waco, TX; and his eight loving grandchildren; Linda, Ronny, Ivanna, Stephen, Kaitlyn, Isabel, Vincent and John Thomas. He will also be missed by his puppies Riley and Charlie.

Friends are invited to visitation hours on Wednesday, June 15 from 5 – 7 pm at the Guilford Funeral Home, 115 Church St, Guilford. Burial services will be held privately.
