Opening Date, Hours Announced For Jacobs Beach And Lake Quonnipaug
Here's what to know about hours and access to Jacobs Beach and Lake Quonnipaug this season.
GUILFORD, CT —Guilford Parks and Recreation has announced that Jacobs Beach and Lake Quonnipaug will open daily beginning on June 19.
In a social media post, the town said Jacobs Beach will be open Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Lake Quonnipaug will be open Monday through Sunday, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Guests this year can enjoy new character pedal boats. There is a $10 per hour rental fee and users must sign a waiver.

Passes will be needed to be shown for entrance to both beaches, the town said. Passes can be purchased from gateguards upon arrival.
