The Employee Recognition Awards Committee selected Demino, who was nominated by the entire Town Hall South staff.

The nominating staff explained that since being employed with the Building and Health Departments the past few years, Demino has worked on various clerical assignments without complaint, as he is meticulous and well-organized.

He has sorted over 10,000 records by alphabetical and numerical order, to create a simple and quick process for the public and staff to find any record. One of his biggest projects involved working on the microfilm records.

“Michael is always friendly and respectful to the staff and public, including saying hello and goodbye to anyone who enters and leaves Town Hall South and he never leaves without saying goodbye to each employee by name," the nominating staff said in a news release.

Demino was recognized by other staff as one of their most dedicated and productive employees and a part of the "Town Hall South Family."

Demino has been with the town of Guilford since April 2022. Along with a recognition certificate, Demino won a gift card and a Ninja Blender from Hoey in recognition of his achievements, all coinciding with his two-year anniversary with the town and his birthday.
