Popular Disc Golf Course In The Works For Guilford: Report
Town officials say they want to develop a course here in town.

GUILFORD, CT — Town officials are eyeing Bittner or Peddlers parks as the home for disc golf, a sport that is growing in popularity and combines Frisbee and golf, according to the Guilford Courier.
The way the game works is that you have toss the disc into a basket and the winner is determined by who can do it in the fewest throws possible. The course would be designed for 18 holes and would need several acres but it likely wouldn't cost much as money can be donated and volunteers could clear the land of brush, the Courier reports.
The costs are minimal as a basket costs about $325. Recreation officials say several people are already interested in helping to clear the brush and donate funds.
