Popular Guilford Restaurant Closes, Building Sold
Local group purchases shoreline eatery for $2.75 million.

One of Guilford’s finest dining establishments has closed its doors, and the building sold for $2.75 million, the New Haven Register reports.
July 31 was the final day of operation for the Stone House Restaurant at 506 Whitfield Street. Stone House Group Realty LLC sold the business Tuesday to Oceanco LLC, which also owns the neighboring Harriet Beecher Stowe House.
It’s not immediately clear what the new owner will do with the building.
