Repair Cafe Returns To Guilford This November
Residents can bring their broken items in from home and get help fixing them free of charge from volunteer repair experts.

GUILFORD, CT — The Repair Cafe is returning to Guilford next month.
Scheduled at the Guilford Community Center on Nov. 2 from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m., the community event will allow residents in Guilford/Branford to bring their broken items in from home and get help fixing them free of charge from volunteer repair experts.

The first Repair Cafe event was held in November 2023 and was a great success, with over 100 people bringing in their broken items.
Residents can bring up to two broken items.

Examples include:
- Electrical appliances (toasters, lamps)
- Electronics (kids toys, audio/visual equipment, computers)
- Small wooden items and furniture
- Clothing and jewelry
- Tools for sharpening
The purpose of Repair Cafe is not just to reduce waste, but also to encourage everyone to stop by, socialize over free refreshments at and pick up some interesting tips on repairing household goods.
