Results: American Idol Season 15 Fans Continue to Love Nick Fradiani Jr.

Fradiani, 29, who has ties to Guilford, East Haven, and Milford continues to excel on the very popular Fox reality television show.

America’s love affair with Nick Fradiani Jr. continues to grow as the singer has punched his ticket to the top 11 of American Idol on Thursday night.

Next week, Nick, 29, who has ties to Guilford, East Haven, Milford, and West Haven, will learn if he made it to the top 10 of American Idol Season 15.

On Thursday’s live show there was some drama and tense moments for Nick and his fans.

He was the last contestant to learn if he made the cut from 12 to 11 performers.

Once he received the word he was safe, he had to immediately perform, and he sang Avicii’s “Wake Me Up.”

After his performance, Jennifer Lopez said she could only imagine the emotion Fradiani had waiting to learn if he’d move on in the competition.

She added his song choice was a “great one.” (Watch Nick’s life performance from Thursday below.)

“No doubt you deserve to be here,” Lopez said.

Harry Connick Jr. said Nick’s performance was solid and that he needs to “crack open for us, don’t be so shy.”

Keith Urban predicts that Nick will make it to the top 10 next week.

Earlier in the day, Nick wrote on Facebook: “Thank you so much for getting me into the Top 12, and hopefully for voting for me last night! … Again, thank you so much for all the support. Wouldn’t be here without you all.Thank you SO much for voting me into the top 12! I can’t thank you all enough. I need you guys again to please come together and vote for me again!,” Fradiani wrote.

The Guilford Police Department shared on Facebook the good news Thursday night.

“Nick Fradiani does it again!!!! Top 11! Guilford is voting for you Nick!”

This isn’t Fradiani’s first time at the reality TV rodeo. He auditioned forAmerica’s Got Talent last year with his Milford band, Beach Avenue, bandmates, performing original songs.

His band was eliminated at the beginning of the competition but that didn’t dampen Fradiani’s spirits — he’s back in the reality TV game again, this time going solo on American Idol.
