GUILFORD, CT — Connecticut Water announced recipients of its 2022 School Water Bottle Filling Station grant program, and Baldwin Middle School, the only shoreline recipient, is among them.

The program is part of Connecticut Water's annual $120,000 "commitment to support community and charitable organizations." The company noted that its charitable giving programs are funded by the company and not recovered in customer rates.

In addition to supporting the needs of Connecticut Water’s service communities, the School Water Bottle Filling Station Grant Program also aims to support Connecticut Water’s commitment to the environment by promoting the use of reusable bottles.
Clinton-based Connecticut Water is a public water and wastewater utility regulated by the Connecticut Public Utilities Regulatory Authority that provides water service to more than 350,000 people in 60 Connecticut communities.
