Safe Search Offers Secure, Private Computer, Internet, & Phone Access

GUILFORD, CT — The Women & Family Life Center announced the return of its Safe Search program. Safe Search allows a person who doesn't feel they're in a safe environment to communicate freely and without fear of being tracked or monitored. Safe Search provides a private space for calling counselors or lawyers, researching job openings, or revising and printing their resume, for example.

Its Safe Search program provides secure access to use a computer, internet, printer, copier, fax machine and phone in privacy, the Center noted. It also offers locked storage for securing documents for future use, as well as the referral book of local resources.

Safe Search will be open Monday to Friday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Women & Family Life Center, 96 Fair St., Guilford. There is no fee or appointment needed. Times and days may change due to programs, events, or holiday.

Meanwhile, the Women & Family Life Center, a nonprofit serving women and families on the Connecticut Shoreline since 1991, is celebrating its 30th anniversary Wednesday, June 8, from 5 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. at The Little Red Barn at Bishop's Orchards, 1355 Boston Post Road, Guilford.
