Several Stolen Cars, Vehicle Thefts Reported In Guilford: PD
Police are reminding residents to lock their car doors and take their keys and belongings with them.

GUILFORD, CT — The Guilford Police Department is reminding residents to be lock their car doors and take their keys and belongings following several incidents in recent weeks.
"Over the last few weeks we have had several stolen cars and numerous unlocked cars entered with items stolen during overnight hours," police said in a Facebook post. "A few cars were entered and the criminals used a garage door opener from the unlocked car to open the garage, then stole items from inside the garage."
Police didn't specify where the incidents took place.

"The best defense is a good offense. Always lock your cars. Always take your stuff. And always take your keys," police added.
Residents should call police immediately if they see something suspicious.
